THE TRAINING IS DESIGNED TO TEACH KNITTY GRITTY TRICKS OF SAP CONFIGURATIONS TO TRAIN A FRESH PERSON AS AN EXPERIENCED CONSULTANT IN JUST 3 MONTHS TIME.
THIS IS POSSIBLE BY OUR TRAINING MATERIALS BECAUSE UNLIKE OTHER MATERIALS WHICH DOES NOT EXPLAIN THE CONCEPTS BEHIND A CONFIGURATION, WE EXPLAIN THE REASONS BEHIND A CONFIGURATION AND HOW IT IS RELATED TO OTHER CONFIGURATIONS.
WHILE OTHER MATERIALS TEACH YOU THE SUBJECT, WE MAKE YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE SUBJECT. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO IS VERY VAST AND YOU WILL REALIZE THIS WHEN YOU ACTUALLY START USING OUR PRODUCT.
For example see the following issue and the explanations given by other training materials and our material :-
Issue : In SAP we cannot include down payments in the automatic payment run.
Explanation Provided By X Training Material : If you want to include down payments in the automatic payment run, you have to create a down payment request and include it in the auto payment run.
Explanation Provided By Our Training Material : If you want to include down payments in the automatic payment run, you have to create a down payment request and include it in the auto payment run. This is because when you make a down payment, the bank is credited with the amount and the vendor is debited. If you include this down payment in the automatic payment run, it will credit the bank and debit the vendor again which will end up in duplicate postings for the same transaction. However when you create a down payment request, instead of a down payment, the bank and vendor balances are unchanged since there are no GL postings posted at the down payment request level. The GL postings are created only when the down payment request, which is included in an automatic payment run, is executed by the payment program where the bank is credited and the vendor is debited.
The example above clearly shows the difference between other training materials and ours. There is no other way to jumpstart your career as an experienced SAP consultant in a short time span unless you really know the reason why a configuration is done in that way. This is the difference between learning SAP and understanding SAP. A consultant is called experienced only when he comes to that stage where he has understood SAP subject matter.
While understanding of a subject matter can come by way of years of industry experience, we can also get to that same level of knowledge by practicing a training material which makes you to understand the subject. If you don’t trust this, please look at the above example again.
In that example the X training material just explains that the consultant should create a down payment request to include in the automatic payment run without explaining what is wrong if you use a down payment instead in the payment run. After reading this the consultant has to try out himself to find out what will go wrong if he uses a down payment instead. He can’t do this until he gets the access to SAP system. For that he needs to look for a SAP job first, get employed and then try this out. He has to spend at least 1 hour to create a down payment, include it in the payment run and check the account balances after the payment execution. The tricky part is the payment run will execute as normal and will not throw any error. Only if the consultant is smart, he can actually make an attempt to check the account balances and not everyone can figure out this step because they would have expected an error message in the payment run stage for including the down payment. Therefore only the smart consultants will eventually find out the truth about what is wrong if you include a down payment in the payment run and the others will not. The others will eventually conclude nothing and just continue doing their job until one day they actually find out the answer by chance!
See how difficult a consultant’s job is getting just because the training material fails to explain one simple point why the configuration has to be done in that way. This is where our material stands out. If you had practiced our training material for the same issue, we have clearly explained why the down payment should not be included in a payment run and therefore you no need to crack your head or make your own assumptions to a fact. It will prepare you to be a consultant who has understood why SAP should be configured as such and not just how to configure it! |
